Dehydration is due to the loss of water in our body. Our body contains different types of fluids. The composition of water in our body is about 60%. These fluids help us in maintaining body temperature, digestion, transportation of nutrients and there are many more functions of these fluids. And during these functions, our body loses water. Loss of water causes dehydration in yoir body and when your body is not completely hydrated then some temporarily contraction or shrinkness occurs in the brain due to the loss of fluid. This process puls away the brain from the skull which results in the pain. And this is called dehydration headache.

Our mind contains around 80-90 percent of water. Whenever our mind is dehydrated, it starts giving hints to our body. The major mood swings, concentration issues, sleeping problem, headaches and stress generally occur due to dehydration in our mind.
Bad Breath due to Dry Mouth
When there is not enough production of saliva in our mouth then it causes a dry mouth. If your body is dehydrated then it doesn’t contain enough fluid needed to produce the saliva in your mouth. Saliva contains antibacterial properties. Lack of saliva can lead to more bacteria in the mouth. And due to this your mouth starts bringing out bad smell.
Food cravings generally occur when you are dehydrated. The most common among these is sugar cravings. So whenever you feel any such cravings suddenly, then you must drink a glass of water and wait for 5-10 minutes. If you were really hungry then you will still feel the same but if you were just dehydrated then you will be feeling satisfied.
Dehydration can make you feel lethargic or tired. Your body loses 2-3% of fluid when you feel thirsty. This lowers down the volume of your blood and your brain do not get enough blood and also your heart has to pump harder.
