Finally the wait is over. Vodafone India has started its 4G VoLTE services. By now these services can be experienced only in Gujrat. Vodafone 4G voLTE services will soon be available in Delhi, Karnataka, Kolkata and Mumbai. Vodafone subscribers those who have 4G SIM card and 4G-LTE supported smart phone in Gujrat will be able to make VoLTE calls. Vodafone is the third telecommunication network which offers 4G VoLTE services after JIO and Airtel in India.
The company announced the launch of VoLTE services earlier in December. Vodafone 4G subscribers will experience HD quality crystal clear voice and super call connect time at no additional charges. The company confirmed the start its VoLTE services and said that the subscribers in the Gujarat region are being notified of the development via text message.
Sunil, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Vodafone India, said “The introduction of VoLTE will enhance customer experience with HD quality calling and offer our customers newer possibilities. Vodafone VoLTE is an important step towards introducing futuristic technology enhancing our data strong network.”
RelianceReliance Jio, the first telecommunication network to offer VoLTE services in India. After JIO, Airtel also launched it’s VoLTE services in last September which is a big competition.Airtel VoLTE services are currently available in Mumbai, Maharashtra, Goa, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, Karnataka, and Chennai.
The company also announced it’s partnership with Trend Micro last week to launch Vodafone Super Shield end-point security suit to safeguard businesses. The company claims that the security suite will protect business data from various threats, including malware attacks, ransomware, spyware, phishing websites, and data thefts. Enterprise customers have been provided with the suite on Vodafone CloudStore at Rs. 99 per user per month or Rs. 999 per user for 12 months.
