Xiaomi – Chinese smartphone maker, known for providing the best in the cheapest way possible for the company. The company is very much popular in India and is successful also in Indian market. It has recently became the joint leader of the smartphone market of India.
The company started enjoying its success after the blockbuster sales of devices like Redmi Note 4, which is one of the best-selling mobile in India. Redmi Note 4 now is a year old and due to the huge competition in the market it looks like an outdated device now. Honor 9 Lite is a great competition for Redmi Note 4. This makes the company to make a new strategy to handle this situation and the company is doing this by launching a new device, a follow up to its Note series – Redmi Note 5.
Rumors are spread about a new Redmi Note smartphone for 2018. It is expected that the company had made the new device to look like today’s times. The Redmi Note 5 is the smartphone for which the Xiaomi’s fans are super excited across the world.
The rumors say that there will be a bezel-less display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and dual rear cameras vertically alligned. This smartphone is expected to have very thin bezels on the top and the bottom. According to a report, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has been certified by 3C in China. The new device will be launched in two models –
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 base model – it will be powered by Snapdragon 630 processor and
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 top model – it will come with a Snapdragon 636 processor.
The two devices will be priced at –
· Base model – 1499 Yuan( Rs 15,069 approx.)
· Top model – 1799 Yuan(Rs 18,008)
It is expected that the new smartphone will support a Full HD display of 5.99-inch and a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The base model device will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, while the other variant is said to have 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. The device could have a combination of 16MP and 5MP lens of the rear camera and 8MP camera lens for the front camera.
