ASUS Starts Rolling Out Android Pie (9.0) Update to Zenfone MAX

ASUS has introduced the Beta User Program, In this way ASUS way that invites users to run a beta version of the software. The program has been opened for owners of ZenFone Max Pro M2 and allows smartphone users to run the Beta Android Pie version. As we know, ASUS released the ZenFone Max Pro M2 in December last year, but it runs with Android 8.1 Oreo.

One interesting thing, the smartphone also launched with the October security patch. And a few weeks later, ASUS offered to update software by offering November security patches.

Now, owners of the ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 can run the Beta version of Android 9 Pie by registering to enter the Beta Power User Program. But before joining the program, it’s good for users to know a number of things related to the program.

ASUS said it would not provide a downgrade service for users who have joined the Beta Power User Program. So if you update to the new beta version of the software and experience problems, you cannot return to the older version.

The only solution is to opt out of the program. In addition, because this is a beta software program, predict bugs and stability problems can also occur. Below are the requirements to join the program:

Have a ZenFone Max Pro M2
Willing to provide information, including IMEI, Serial Number (SN), Current Firmware for beta testing settings

ASUS ZenFone Max Pro M2 comes with a FullHD + screen measuring 6.26 inches and has an aspect ratio of 19: 9. The screen of this smartphone has also been protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 and has been supported by the Snapdragon 660 chipset combined with 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM plus 32 GB or 64 GB ROM.
