VU TV brand earlier launched few new TVs in India at a Starting Price of 14,500

A few days earlier, TV brand VU has expanded its TV line up in India with some new TVs across different screen sizes and three different series. The TV brand VU has the least powerful TV in the lineup is priced at INR 14,500 and the most powerful TV is Priced at INR 72,000.


There are three variants offered by Vu in its new UltraSmart TV range. The first is a 32-inch HD Ready TV priced at INR 14,500, the second is a 40-inch Full-HD TV priced at INR 21,999, and the third is a 49-inch Full-HD TV priced at INR 31,000. Vu’s Pixelight 4K lineup has four new TVs. There is a 43-inch model that costs INR 30,000, a 50-inch model that costs INR 39,000, a 55-inch model that costs INR 42,000, and a 65-inch model that costs INR 66,000.

In the VU’s ultrasmart TVs there is a VOD upscaler tech and this tech is capable of rendering content from OTT platforms such as Netflix, YouTube, Hotstar, and more without gateway compression. Vu says that its proprietary upscaling technology uses both advance machine learning and a state-of-the-art DSP (digital signal processor) to ensure best possible audio/video playback from VOD services.

In the VU’s Pixelight TVs, it makes use of 4K panels that support HDR10 playback. These TV’s also get Dolby Audio along with enhancements from DTS technologies. While UltraSmart TVs also get Dolby Audio, they make use of DBX-TV sound instead. An added feature on the Pixelight is the ability to control the TV with your smartphone with the use of the Remote Now app.

Both Ultrasmart & Pixelight TVs come with licensed video streaming apps including Netflix, Prime Video and YouTube. All these apps can be directly accessed with dedicated hotkeys on the provided remote control. The televisions are run Linux-based Vu Smart OS. Both TVs also support AnyView Cast that can be used to mirror content from Android smartphones.

VU Premium Android 4K TV comes in four different screen sizes i.e. the first one, it comes in a 43-inch screen and the rest is 50-inch, 55-inch, and 65-inch TVs respectively. This VU Premium Android 4K TV support 4K HDR10 content and are loaded with top-end features such as Dolby Vision, Dolby Audio, Android 8.0 Oreo-based UI and full access to the Google Play Store.

The company also said that this Premium TV series also supports Wi-Fi along with USB, HDMI, and AV ports. It also combines 4x upscaling, smooth motion ratio, adaptive contrast, MPEG noise reduction along with gamma reduction, for high-quality visual experience. For sound quality, the TVs come with built-in box speakers that make use of Dolby MS12 Audio and Dbx-tv sound enhancement technology.
