ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M2) Finally Gives Android Pie

As previously informed, ASUS has distributed updates for Android Pie for ZenFone Max Pro (M1) and ZenFone Max (M2). Now, the same update can also be tested by users of ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M2).

This means that currently all three smartphones have received an Android Pie update and users also do not need to wait until April 15, 2019, as promised by ASUS last month. Unfortunately, this update can only be felt by users on the Indian market.

Update Android Pie for ASUS ZenFone Max Pro (M2) is also distributed over-the-air aka OTA. Most likely, within one or two weeks, this update will reach all units of ZenFone Max Pro (M2) in India.

This update itself carries the version number 16.2017.1903.061 and is equipped with a March security patch, not the latest April patch. Meanwhile, for ZenFone Max Pro (M1) and ZenFone Max (M2) Android Pie updates provided by ASUS have version numbers 16.2017.1903.050 and 16.2018.1903.37.
